Call Options
Calling Line Identification (CLI)
Also called “caller-ID", this service shows the telephone number and name of the person calling you on your mobile phone display.
This useful service also shows you a list of any calls you missed, along with the time and date of the call.
Please note: In order to have your caller’s name shown on your display, you must enter their 8-digit telephone number into your mobile phone or your SIM card.
Call waiting / holding
The call waiting service alerts you to an incoming call when you’re engaged with another call, and allows you to answer the second call while keeping the first call on hold. You can then alternate between the two calls or disconnect either of the parties independently.
Call divert
Call divert enables you to divert calls intended for your KOREK line to any other telephone number that can be reached via the KOREK network – be it a fixed or mobile line or mail box.
You can specify whether your calls are diverted:
- unconditionally
- when your phone is busy
- if you don’t pick-up
- when you’re out of range
Call barring
Call barring allows you to inhibit incoming or outgoing calls in order to control your expenses, especially when roaming.
The barring service can be activated or deactivated via configuration of your mobile.
KOREK subscribers have access to the following call barring possibilities:
- BAOC (Barring of All Outgoing Calls) prevents all outgoing calls
- BAIC (Barring of All Incoming Calls) prevents all incoming calls
- BOIC (Barring of Outgoing International Calls) prevents all outgoing international calls, even if you are entitled to make international calls. National calls may still be made.
- BICRO (Barring of all Incoming Calls when Roaming) prevents incoming calls when roaming. Those using the roaming option will not receive any calls on their mobile phone.
- BOIEXH (Barring of Outgoing International calls, except those to the KOREK home network) prevents all outgoing international calls except those to the KOREK home network. This is only applicable when you are roaming on a network other than KOREK’s.
