Multimedia Messaging (MMS) allows you to exchange a combination of text, audio, picture and video with other Korek customers. 
You can also send MMS messages to an email address. Each message sent is charged at a flat rate. There is no charge to receive a message.

What is the maximum size for a Multimedia Message?

The maximum size for sending and receiving a multimedia message is 300 KB.

Can I send/receive an MMS to subscribers of other operators in Iraq?

No, currently the service is only available for use from Korek customer to Korek customer.

Can I send/receive MMS to international numbers?

No, currently the service is only available for use from Korek customer to Korek customer.

Can I send an MMS to TV and Satellite Channels?

Yes, this is available with certain channels. The required short code will be written on the channel screen.

Do I get charged for receiving an MMS?

There are no charges for receiving an MMS; however in order to receive an MMS, GPRS must be activated on the handset.

Can I download ring tones, games, pictures etc. from multimedia services providers advertised in newspapers?

There are special suppliers that provide multimedia material such as ring tones and MMS. You can dial the IVR numbers and download whatever you choose. The quality of the content is not guaranteed by Korek. These are services independent to Korek.
